thank you

Thank you for setting up this JVM wiki. I hope you don't mind me promoting it on the WikiIndex[1] (http://wikiindex.org/JVM_Languages_Wiki).

Thanks, David! I've been ignoring this wiki for far too long, but I came back because I noticed an uptick in traffic due to this link.

self-replication

Thank you for writing "Self-replication through cooperation" (http://don.schwarz.name/?p=18) .

While reading it, I thought to myself "Does Don know that there is a wiki that discusses self-replicating machines? Perhaps I should mention it in a comment at the end of this blog post."

But when I tried to comment, I see the

"You must be logged in to post a comment."

message. When I attempt to "log on", I get the

"Sorry, that user does not seem to exist in our database. Perhaps you have the wrong username or e-mail address?"

message.

I'm glad this wiki doesn't put as many barriers in front of well-meaning contributors. --DavidCary 12:41, 2 Jul 2007 (EDT) [2] (http://www.reprap.org/)

Well, I originally allowed comments, but the blog got filled up with spam. It seems that the same thing is happening here (saw your attempts to clean it up, thanks again!), so I guess it's time to see what my options are. Maybe I can add CAPTCHAs or something.
